I love that glass is basically fancy sand, blended with pure elements and exposed to outrageous heat. I love its paradoxes: born hot but cool to the touch; intensely colorful or clear as, uh… glass. In the studio, I love to let the glass do what it wants to do, but I also enjoy bending it to my will. My relationship with glass follows the rules of any relationship: Be respectful, keep it shiny, and if you mess with it too much, it's gonna break.
